Are you tired of playing the same old openings time and time again? Perhaps it's time for a change, but you cannot decide between the numerous options available? Here's the answer: choose Dangerous Weapons and amaze your opponents with new and exciting opening ideas!

In this book, three renowned opening experts get together to take a revolutionary look at the ever-popular King's Indian. Instead of travelling down well-trodden and analysed paths, they concentrate on fresh or little-explored variations, selecting a wealth of 'dangerous' options for both colours.

Whether playing White or Black, a study of this book will leave you confident and fully-armed, and your opponents running for cover!

Dangerous Weapons is a series of opening books which supply the reader with an abundance of hard-hitting ideas to revitalize his or her opening repertoire. Many of the carefully chosen weapons are innovative, visually shocking, incredibly tricky, or have been unfairly discarded; they are guaranteed to throw even your most experienced opponents off balance.

Richard Palliser
Richard Palliser is an International Master with numerous tournament successes to his name, and in 2006 he became Joint British Rapidplay Champion. He has already established a reputation as a skilled and prolific chess writer; previous works for Everyman Chess include "Starting Out: Sicilian Najdorf" and "Beating Unusual Chess Openings", both of which were warmly received by the critics and chess public alike.

Glenn Flear
Grandmaster Glenn Flear is one of the most popular figures on the European tournament circuit. He's an experienced trainer and has many chess books to his name, including "Practical Endgame Play: Beyond the Basics" and "Starting Out: Slav & Semi-Slav".

Yelena Dembo
Yelena Dembo is a young International Master from Greece with numerous tournament successes to her name, including the bronze medal at the 2005 European Women's Championship and one Grandmaster norm.

She's a renowned chess coach, who has taught students from over 30 countries. She's also an experienced chess writer and a regular contributor to the quality publication Chess Informant. This is her first book for Everyman Chess.
