MTel Masters
The fourth MTel Masters take place in Sofia from May 7 to 18. This year the venue is the Central Military Club in the Bulgarian capital. Six players compete in a double round-robin (10 rounds). As in previous years the 'Sofia rules' apply that forbid players to offer draws. The time-limit is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves and one hour (per player) for the rest of the game. The participants are Veselin Topalov, Vasily Ivanchuk, Levon Aronian, Teimour Radjabov, Ivan Cheparinov and Bu Xiangzhi.
