About Quality Chess

Quality Chess was founded in 2004, aiming to produce high quality instructional books for serious chess players. Since then, we have published a string of best sellers and changed the face of chess publishing, winning the highly esteemed ECF Book of the Year Award seven times.

We have a small team working out of Glasgow, UK, consisting of Chief Editor, Andrew Greet, editors Kostis Megalios and Jeremy Hart, and Operations Assistant Bimalka de Silva.

In 2024 we merged operations with Popular Chess and New in Chess, while keeping our identity.
